LPG (Butane+Propane) Detector, 220V AC,
LPG is a hydrocarbon derivative consisting of a mixture of butane and propane, explosive gas class and heavier than air. Therefore, during the leakage, the gas will be collected at ground level. Taking this situation into account, the detectors should be installed 15-25cm above the ground and 1-2m horizontally away from the gas source.
LPG detectors sound and visually alarm before the gas leakage reaches the 20% LEL (lower explosion limit) level.
